Hey, I’m José!

I’m a Los Angeles-based data analyst. Born and raised in Pasadena, I received my B.A. in Economics from Loyola Marymount University in the spring of 2019.

I’ve worked across a variety of domains including advertising, marketing, academia, entertainment, retail, and non-profit industries.

My passions lie predominantly in music and science. I have been playing instruments for over a decade and been learning the intensive skills of recording, mixing, and mastering audio for over 8 years. My affinity for science, especially all things space related, stems from growing up in Altadena, within close proximity to JPL, Mt. Wilson and Caltech. Furthermore, I eventually had the amazing opportunity of learning astronomy under Dr. John Sepikas while at Pasadena City College which further expanded my knowledge and curiosity for the field.

I want to work with highly passionate, innovative, and talented individuals to create extraordinary things. I thrive in fast paced, high stakes situations.

In addition to my current endeavors, I also have a passion for writing and performing music, printmaking, motorcycles, video games, and baking. You can find some of my pieces down below or on my Instagram!
